Patient has to
stay in the hospital for 1 to 2 hours after Vertebroplasty procedure. It takes
about an hour after vertebroplasty to harden the cement. Patient has to take
bed rest for the first 24 hours after vertebroplasty. Today, Vertebroplasty is
done by advanced minimally invasive technique which involves smaller incisions
instead of big tissue cut.
